Pudalangai Kootu

To prepare Pudalangai Kootu

INGREDIANTS :

  • Snake Gourd (Pudalangai) – 1
  • Moong dal – 50gms
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 spn
  • Mustard – 1/2 spn
  • Urad dal – 1/2 spn
  • Salt – as required
  • Gingelly oil – 2spn

FOR GRINDING:

  • Green chilli – 2
  • Garlic – 2
  • Small onion – 6
  • Coconut – as required
  • Cumin seed – 1tspn

METHOD:

  1. In a kadai add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, snake gourd and moong dal, turmeric powder, salt and add some water mix it well let them to cook
  2. Now grind the above grinding things into  paste
  3. Add it to the kadai and mix it well untill the dal and snake gourd cooked well
  4. Now the yummy Pudalangai Kootu is ready
