Tandoori chicken

Tandoori Chicken is a famous Indian Grilled recipe it is also healthy tasty side dish with mint paste.

Chicken                 –        500 gms
Garlic                     –        1 clove
Ginger                   –        1 inch piece peeled
Yogurt                   –       4 tbsp
Cumin powder     –        1 tsp
Garam masala      –      2 tsp
Chat masala          –      1 tsp
Red chilly powder –      1/2 tbsp
Black pepper        –       1 tsp
Lemon juice           –      2 tbsp
Vegetable oil for brushing
Salt to taste

Cut chicken in to big pieces and rinse
Make 4 or 5 cuts in each piece
Combine ginger garlic paste,cumin, garam masala, chat masala, chilly powder, black pepper, lemon juice and salt . Mix well.
Pour the mixture over chicken and rub in to the cuts well.
Cover the chicken pieces with yogurt.
Cover and keep the pieces in refrigerator for about 7-8 hours
Remove from refrigerator, brush with vegetable oil
Place them well oiled grill rack.
Grill the chicken for 45 minutes.
If using oven, place in oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, turn once.
Garnish with sliced onion.Serve with Indian bread.
